1. The Barefoot Collective hosts another 8@8 where eight local artists receive a maximum of 8 minutes to test drive their works in progress followed by feedback from the audience. It takes place at 8 p.m. inside Tacoma City Ballet Studio B in the Merlino Arts Center.

2. The 36th Annual Student Art Exhibition shows from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pierce College Fine Arts Gallery in Lakewood.

3. As part of the State Capital Museum's Spring Lecture Series: Stories of Washington Women and Settlers, Patricia Larson and Sandra Nisbet reprise their performances as the Co-Respondents from noon to 1 p.m. The Co-Respondents performed, researched, and created programs based on women’s history and literature, and performed all over Washington and the U.S. for several years during the 1970s and 1980s.

4. Jay Mabin and Pound 4 Pound fill The Swiss with blues beginning at 8 p.m.

5. Jason Diamond spins reggae every Monday night at 9 p.m. inside O'Malley's Irish Pub in Tacoma.

Darren Selector's Grit Rock Monday is making its New Frontier Lounge debut tonight. Expect a dj set full of heady indie rock, local artists, and dance music for rockers. 10:30 to last call.
