If you're the kind of person who can never have enough sushi, Mongolian barbecue, or Asian cuisine served up buffet style, you're in luck. In late July, a new Asian fusion buffet opened in University Place-Fortune Palace Buffet at 3819 Bridgeport Way (where the Blockbuster used to be). The exterior of the restaurant is still be-decked with grand opening signs.
Venture in. Enjoy the comingled scents of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese delicacies.
While I have not yet sampled the delights of this buffet, their menu says that over 250 items are served daily. There will be a sushi bar, salad, hibachi grill, and plenty of foods from dumplings to crab legs. There is also a full menu available for dine-in or take-out. Better yet are the 16 lunch specials for a mere $5.50. What could possibly be wrong with this picture?

Being as respectful as i can.... the prices were outrageous for the quality of food. VERY bland food, it's really noisy, cold and industrial feeling in there. I LOVE a chinese buffet but I hope these guys figure out really quick what will keep people coming back. As for me, i left with the thought of never returning again. The staff was VERY polite and happy. but the cuisine it's self was not worth my time or money. Sad.
