YES OR NO? >>>
Each year, the Broadway Center seeks your opinion for its upcoming season via a humble survey. You click; they listen.
"Every vote and comment is taken into close consideration," says Aaron Stevens, programming manager at Broadway Center. "There are many different ways to curate a theater. Some folks take the approach of being a ‘taste-maker' by attempting to curate what they think the audience should appreciate. But at the Broadway Center we are doing our best to listen to our diverse community and to let them have a say in what art we bring to Tacoma."
The survey is organized into eight sections: Concerts, Broadway Shows, Classical Concerts, Just for the Family, Theater, Guest Speakers, Comedy and a Suggestion box if all of that is just not enough for you. Each section lists shows or performers as well as the average ticket price, meaning actual tickets may be higher or lower. After each show are two simple buttons - yes and no. Click "yes" if you would pay to see a performer, "no" if you would not.
If anything, the survey will give you an idea of just what kind of pull Broadway Center has with performers large and small the world over. Everyone from the Indigo Girls coupled with Tacoma Symphony Orchestra, to the Broadway hit Hair, to a 70-minute spoof of all seven Harry Potter books.
Special bonus, by taking this survey, you'll be entered to win two tickets to Sweet & Spicy: A Valentine's Day Burlesque, an especially sexy way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
