Today's comment of the day comes from "Volcano Boycotting RR Anderson" (who, we presume, is the artist formally known as simply RR Anderson - he of "Tacomic" fame) in regard to Zach Powers's first "Tacoma: Week In Review," post, scheduled to hit weekly, on Friday, at the Volcano's blog, Spew.
"Volcano Boycotting RR Anderson," writes,
And furthermore, please remember to email the planning commission and tell them NO digital billboards, and NO illegal billboards for Tacoma. Please enforce the 1997 law and give Clear Channel Outdoor the billboard shaft. Also Boycott the billboard fornicating Volcano!

Posting a comment on a website he's boycotting. What an idiot.

Seriously guys, those billboards can't be cheap and I don't know if they are doing anything for your bottom line. Add unpopularity of Clear Channel to that and it's probably time to consider discontinuing your billboard campaigns. (Get a bus wrap, instead.)

This is going to be a lame boycott if i'm the only citizen boycotting the volcano. Join me Tacomamama in boycotting the Volcano. And other people too, I encourage you all reading this comment to Boycott the Volcano. We must send a message to Old Tom Swarner that billboard pollution is not a party hipsters will want to get in on. On the contrary... such a campaign will be sure fire hipster repellent which ultimately the most ironic outcome of such a hipster pandering billboard. I love the volcano and Matt Driscoll and at least Ron Swarner that's why it pains me to inspire a mass protest movement against the Volcano which everyone in Tacoma should be boycotting. Go with god. Allah be praised.
